I figured my coffee table needed a chair friend.
Upholstered in Ikea cow rug and powder-coated black.
The arms ready to be welded with the horizontal connecting bars.
All welds ground flat and the whole surface sanded.
First test before attaching the backrest hide.

Riveting the seat hide. The final version (pictured at the top) used rope to lace the hide so the seat could be pulled taut.
Since I was removing the rivets to switch to a rope I decided to get it powder-coated black.
